This process involves mixing various high-quality alloy steel powders（This product is made by mixing two types of steel, VG10 and 9Cr18MoV，Number of layers: 110 layers）, then subjecting them to high temperatures, pressure, solidification, cooling, and multiple steps like grinding, pressing, forging, etc., to produce blade materials. This type of steel, when acid etched, can display various patterns, presenting irregular and uneven designs on the surface. A5: Yes, there will be differences in color and pattern(But the difference won’t be huge), because the Damascus steel pattern is random, we can not guarantee that each batch of steel purchased pattern is the same, and even can not guarantee that the supplier is the same, the master knife maker will choose the pattern according to his experience, we can only try to make the pattern more adaptable to each knife, so that each knife pattern has a unique temperament, so that the DIY is more fun (some batch will be the second pickling to deepen the pattern color)
